FAMILY BUSINESS ESTABLISHED IN 1975

Divine Equine is an independently owned family business. Originally named G & B Andrews Saddlery it was formed by George and Beryl Andrews in 1975 in Boroadmeadow. It evolved from being a greyhound and racing supply business to a saddlery and custom and repair made horse rug business over 20 years.

In 1995, George and Beryl and sold the business to their daughter, Jenny Nichols, with George staying on in a part-time capacity. 

Jenny traded as Broadmeadow Saddlery for 7 years and grew the business introducing country clothing. On outgrowing the Broadmeadow premises a larger building was purchased at the current location in Mayfield and the name subsequently changed to Divine Equine.

3 Generations of the family now work in the business with Jenny's daughter, Denver, joining Jenny and George (now 80) in the shop on Saturdays. Denver is also responsible for administration of the website.
